Hi guys apologies I have tried to search. My name is Seb and I have recently bought a pitster pro xjr 50 ss to race in my mates private 50's league.
The bike is pretty stock with the standard 'bolt on' mods, Im quite suprised at how easy these bikes are to work on coming from the jap import scene. It helps when someone else has done the hard work to design it and make sure it fits.

My question/problem is rather than play with the stock carby I have bought a stock CRF50 one but now i have realised that it won't fit the intake pipe or manifold on the xjr so has anyone been down this path before or can recommend a part? At the moment ill either buy the stock honda pipe and see if it fits or get one of my mates to fabricate something to make it work. Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Seb

Yeh I have read that thread a few times before posting but unfortuantely the answer i seek isn't in there.

Ok so I'll chuck this up to help anyone else that buys a xjr 50
So I ended up just purchasing the intake from Honda, about two weeks away in Melbourne so I'll update when out gets here
Also anyone who tells you the pro taper kit for the crf 50 will fit the xjr is lying, the top headset is a different size
The fast ace shock that mini fighter describes is too stiff, the 250lb would have done the job
I'm going to keep putting up small bits of info on here, I love being able to jump on my local evo forum and finding out the answer to everything related to my car, something that I think needs to be on here
