xr50 with takegawa 88 kit problem. HELP! :(

if you run the bike rich you will get some smoke... and i think after a carby clean it should be fine... WAIT your valves are adjusted correctly right? because if there not it can make the bike run funny and not really run right...

hess: yer i know it is blowing a bit of smoke. he moved the needle seat today. still didnt fix it. i havent checked if it does it in first or second to be honest... sso im not sure if it does it in them gears...

zwebx: i would have a clue if the valves n **** are adjusted properly. i dont know how to pull an engine apart..

the guy at the shop sounds so sure that it is the rings that need doing... but i dont know :S its blowing a bit of smoke but yer.

yeah gotta be something with the fuel.. maybe try different jets?
