where do u get the compliance plates from we bought a xr250 the other day but the compliance plate had been taked of to paint it and then the guy who done it has lost it

doubtful you will be able to get one. If you contact Honda Australia, and give them frame and engine number, they MAY be able to point you in the right direction, otherwise I dare say going and picking up a new frame from the wreckers with the compliance plate.

Alternatively contacting the RTA in your state and giving the information you have they may also be able to tell you what steps to take.. Otherwise I think you purchased a bike thats good for trailer use only.
