Also, I found out the 2 exhaust pipe head mounting bolts are coming loose when they ride the bike. Seems like it should be using locking washers or at least liquid thread lock. Any suggestions?

OK thanks for the help. I'll get the new gasket and try flattening the flange.

My nephew's got an RX1 mini bike and the exhaust is leaking where the pipe bolts to the exhaust manifold on the engine. When the pipe is bolted up tight against the manifold, there's this gap, even with the gasket installed. I'm not sure if there's a part missing or just the pipe is damaged...
