these perimeter frames handle great. because they are a midsize frame the geometry is really good (like crf70 style geometry). the only time when manoeverability is bad is when you turn slow in a tight corner....or when your pushing it because the turning stop thing under the headstem is large...

^^^^^Exactly what fused said. preperation is vital for a good paint job. if you just spend 10 minutes prep you'd better expect a sh*t job but if you put in the hours it will look awesome and will last longer;)

would it be easier to use a under the foot peg pedal to heat and bend to make it fit? what did you use to heat and bend it? oxy/acet or LPG?

yeah i have to take the header off to change to oil but that doesnt really bother me. i got an old 12'' rear tube, cut a bit out of it, cut it in half then wraped it around the shock . its held there by zipties i found it difficult to fit those things also in the past but i havent tried...

update: put the forks and wheels on but the tiple clamps that are on the bike now are the old ones. going to buy a new set. i checked the valve clearences, droped the oil and put in some castrol active 4t and finally got her started. just got to tune the carb and it should be good as...
