Looks like your intake was only one of 2 bottle necks. 22mm is definitely too small for the exhaust. Look for a 28mm.

I have a Lifan 140 on a postie bike here in Arizona that gets used every day both on and off road but not raced. It now has 5800 miles (9300+ Km) on it and has had no problems whatsoever.

It would be a problem if you towed it very far without removing the chain.

With gas being so expensive I use my Suzuki Swift to transport my postie bike.

I suspect the outer filter is there only to extend the time it takes for the inner filter to become clogged when riding in very dusty conditions.

Unifilter says to oil both inner and outer layers. Frequently Asked Questions I only oil the inner for the same reason as you. Q
