I use a cordless Makita rattle gun. BEST TOOL EVAAAH!!!! Takes the nut off in a flash without having to secure the flywheel. Buy one!

Stator test- passed. Within 5-10 ohms of values so looks like that's ok.

Thanks for the reply. All jets and passages are clear in the carby. Been through it all and I've done it a few times- I'm not a teenage noob! :) There doesn't appear to be an intake leak- done the spray test. As mentoned above, valve clearances were done and have been double checked.

Not sure if this is out there or not but thought I'd share. I'm fixing the motor in my son's bike (broken gearbox output shaft at the kickstart idle gear end) and the gearbox for this Jongshen 140 turns out to be identical to the yx150/160 gearbox internals. There you go. Hope it helps...

Looking at it, they appear to be mostly WA based- lots of places sell them here and not so many over east. It may just be a model that one distributor has decided to bring in- so sticker sets may be tricky. I'll try some of the other shops here in Perth.

Thanks for the welcome. Long time browser, just registered. You know how it goes! I've seen a XTM 140 Pitboss bike at Steve's in Midland (WA) that looks to be pretty much identical but they didn't have sticker kits to suit when I asked. Quite different from the braaaps I've seen though...
