Nice work, that swing arm look's pretty smooth in Satin Black.

Son of a #$%@ wth grrrrrr just spent time mounting new tires by hand no compressor yet again.....got to buy a new one.....and after many whacks to the face while tightening front spokes one broke I've been told...and done it. ...that one broke one is ok for a bit .....buuut I now am nagging at myself to replace it. Only mm measure a can do is depth and calipers lol does anyone know the length for ds 80 14" front tire spokes? Drum brakes too .....also did this with kittens climbing on me a feat in itself

140mm I believe having problems searching as only ones I can find are in GB and worried about waiting and riding ugh lol

Compressor for mounting tyres ?
I just put my tyre's in the sun for 1/2 hour and then you don't even need tyre levers to fit it.
Easy as, even the 10" PW50 one's go on without trouble's, use some tyre shine spray on the bead's to help it slip on.
And make sure the bread is in the deepest part of the rim, the centre, as you fit them

Yeah it'll be fine to use with a broken spoke, pull the nipple out and the broken spoke though.

I don't know the length for the spokes sorry, but RM50/RM60 use the same front wheel too.
You might be able to pick up a cheap front wheel too?

Compressor for a few things ....my hand pump bit the dust last week so it was funny to watch me with a tiny hand pump that fits on a bycicle holder. Weather was cold today so tire was unruly used dish soap and my el cheapo tire irons kept slipping

Would've Been funnier if I explained lol had my wife cracking up first the very large 24" tire irons from harbor freight would slip Nd then pumping that teensy pump like a maniac

Prob next set of tires I'll use your idea Craig back one was easy. I forgot to add got a new rear fender I fixed up.....that a green lol but it don't look too bad new grey grips (black or yellow was out of stock) as well

seat needs cleaning and fender it being shaped a bit more but this is how it looked before installing everything

Tell me this ain't a pain chain tensioner ran then tensioned again ......Five seconds later throws the main link then chain ....one day later brand new D.I.D. chain main link tensioned lined up straight ran tensioned again.......threw main link and chain at 50mph ............now I mean I lined the tire straight and tensioned the chain right however the front sprocket that's marked for 428 when free wheeled in neutral sounds off like the chain is snagging somewhere I'm almost willing to bet that may be an issue

I dunno what's happening with your chain jumping ?
Mine still has the first $25 DID H/D 428 chain i fitted to it when i first bought it, it's done about 400km's now, beside's the first retension at about 20km's from new, it's never needed readjusting since.
Do you check the tension with you sitting on the bike?
or with the rear axle, front swingarm bolt, and centre of front sprocket all lined up ?

Yes I think it has to do with the front sprocket it seems to be catching it's not throwing the chain it unclips the main link and discombobulates lol

Heading out to pick up a new front sprocket and did main link anyone have a good size the front sprocket can be? Like the best number you've had luck with
