are atomik pit bikes anygood?

seen some cheap 160 atomik pit bikes selling on ebay, does anyone know if there any good ?

Yeah they are not bad for the price they've been selling for, they regularly sell for around $700
They are basically an entry level bike though, still need to upgrade the handlebar's fork's, shock etc etc but they come with a 160cc engine which sell for $500 and upward's by themself's.
The YX160 that come's in the Nitrous is the older model though, it has the oil slinger
The newer YX160 gen 3 engine's are a lot better, then there's the Z160Ho too
I have seen the Nitrous 160 sell for under $500 too, it's all depending on how many newbie bidder's there are wanting them that week.
People alway's want to be the highest bidder though, and it force's the price up, and up
If people were smart they wouldn't bid till the last 15 second's of the auction,
it keep's the sell price way down.
You enter the highest price you are prepared to pay in the last 30 second's and wait till about 15 second's to go then bid, if you win it that's good and you didn't have to pay more than you wanted.
If you don't win the bidding then wait till the next one is listed.


But then again there has been a lot of bargain's listed here too, $2000-$3000 bike's that haven't had a lot of hour's put on them for the same sort of price

Yeah it would be a good deal if u got it for only 500! It's pretty much a free bike to go with your new engine..

I seen now that atomik have actually started selling a newer model of there 160 nitrous now it has different sticker kit and it says it has a light weight outer rotor kit.
Is this the better engine?

I'm pretty sure the 160's have alway had a lighter outer rotor kit.
They have gone back to the early 90's with those graphic's, yak !

They have. It's why theyre a b!7ch to start (along with the cams). Also why they rev up so fast. But i dont believe Atomik has actually made any differences to the weight of the flywheel. Only real difference compared to the psto styled ones is the clutch cover. (That i know of). This is coming from me owning a comp L with a stock yx160 in it.
