hey westy,

i got the TB 88 kit off classic hondas australia (great guys to deal with)

it cost $315 if i remember correctly and came with big bore, piston, carby, jets, air filter, gaskets etc.

and it came with the cam which i only got around to putting in today.

it ran great without the cam, and went about twice as great with the cam!

and i'm waiting to get some graphics and then i'll get a tall seat at the same time, I dont have any trouble riding it anyway i'm only 5"10

cool cool man thanks for that. after I get my suspension ( which seems to be taking fking forever) that will be the next mod. same kit I was looking at. with the 50cc's I need an awefully long run up to do jumps.

is it so much more power as it spins the wheel when you feed it will it lift the wheel up without pulling?

it depends how much you weigh man, im a lightweight and weigh just over 60kgs, but with the cam in now it has no problem lifting the wheel on acceleration in any gear.

60kgs and 5"10? string bean! hehe jks. yeh im about 75 tryin to get back to 70kg. thanks for the info.

haha yeah i would like to get up to 70kgs would be good!

almost 6.1 and 65kg...... lol
lookin good boys, i take it you like the cam? what has it done? taken bottom end and basically just put it on top orr?

Absolutely stoked with the cam, I didnt want to put it on at first because i thought it would have lost alot of the bottem end torque.

but there is no noticeable loss it torque down low, but a massive gain through the midrange/top end

sorry i'll stop talking it up but im really impressed with the gains.

did you do the oil pump at the same time? have you found the engine getting hotter with all this gigantic horsepower?

i've got the oil pump here, but havent installed it yet, was too keen to ride it and didnt have the tools to take the clutch off. It doesnt take much to take the head back off.

the engine doesnt seem to run hotter at all, although it does seem to make the girls alot wetter cos it has so much powahh!

Just came back from a ride, the bike is running heaps better and smoother now that I did the valve clearances.

forgot the camera so i dont have any updated pics

but we are building a small track so hopefully some pics soon.

now to save up some money and buy a fox float!
