Been meaning to do this review for awhile now, but been a bit slack...
Ok so the part in question, is the "Double Bolt" Handlebar clamp from DHZ.
If memory serves, i think i paid about $40 for it on auction, and i believe now goes for about $60 buy now on ebay...
What seperates this particular bar clamp from the usual crap found on minibikes, is the fact that it has bolts to anchor them to the triples, and bolts to clamp the actual bars themselves, instead of the usual setup which has 4 long bolts going right the way through the bar clamp, and the triples...
Absolute sinch to set up, just bolt the bottom clamp on, put your bars on, then top section, bolts in, set bar angles, tighten pinch bolts, and away you go...

The biggest advantage i have found with these, is that it makes adjusting bar angles much, much easier than the standard four long-bolt set up, and when removing your bars, it's far less ungainly than the usual set up.
Why these things arent standard fitment on minis, is beyond me, and one of the small things about standard minibikes that is rather ****...
in my opinion, it's a small price to pay for excellent convenience, totally worth the $60 they cost...

Uncle Thump gives em a big "buddy christ" thumbs up and point.
DHZ Double bolt bar clamp FTW. :D

Nice ;) could you get a pic of underneath the clamps? Do they bolt on like the two seperate ones?:):):)

i can probably manage a pic.. did you mean from under the top triple clamp, or just under the bars??...
yeah the bottom half is two seperate risers... same as the usual set up on minis, but the bottom risers have threads tapped into the bottom, as opposed to holes bored all the way through...
The idea with the single bridge clamp across the top, is to lessen the chance of the clamps twisting out of alignment if you throw the bike away..

Cant say i have ever seen the ones your talking about? i have always had that style on all my Chinese bikes.

Good write up thought (Y)

Yeah from underneath the triples)....Okay I get it now:D....Still I'ld like to see the pic please:)

Yeah good one thump*. I got myself the same clamps and they work wonders! Saves so much friggin around.

all good mate, yeah, small price to pay for a lot less f***** about when it comes time to play with the bars. them is awesome. :D

thats similar to what the used on the old genuine thumpstars, but instead of 2 bolts holding each bar holder at the bottom, the had one large bolt halding each bar holder.
i have them on one of my bikes now and they are much easier to adjust bars.

is that rly where you run ur kill switch?

It's the way fmx riders set up there bikes china ...

Stops him hitting the button when he's bringing his hands back to the bars after his big lookback, one handed nacflip pointing at the crowd over the finishline table :D
