Yeah , that's definitely a 155Z ... YX 150/160's have a triangular looking cam sprocket cover and the 155Z's have an oval cover ... the YX valve adjustment cover bolts are directly in line with each other in the middle of the cover .... NOT staggered diagonally on each end ... the YX cylinder fins are horiziontal on the flywheel side NOT vertical ... You got a GOOD deal on the engine ... IF you want a genuine Pitster motor with the Pitster symbols on the cases ... be prepared to fork out near $1000 for the privelege of having the silly symbols ...
Ken (DHZ) tries to sell things to us Aussies for the same price as listed on US websites BUT in AUD ... whereas MOST others look at what it would cost for us to personally buy from the US including shipping to Australia ... PER item ... THEN they charge that much PER item ... PLUS add their own extra profit ... IF not for people like DHZ ... we'd still be getting hammered with high prices like it used to be ... Remember ! ... The Yank Pitster engines are in USD ... $699 USD = $828 AUD ... Now add postage cost from the US and you'll start to see things more clearly ... Pitster and other companies get a hold of that EXACT same motor ... get the manufacturer to plonk their logo on the sides , use different types of paints to give that "more expensive" look ... then JACK the price up to make people THINK they're getting something special ... Clothes companies etc do the EXACT same thing ...
A case in point as a reference ... The "Flavour Wave Turbo" Convection ovens being flogged off on infomercials on TV by Mr T ... "Only" four or five easy payments of $50 + postage and handling ... We bought the exact same oven made by the same company from ALDI for $59 ... Joyce main had them on sale for $89 ... I nearly got sucked into paying $250 plus for one ... LOL ... BTW ... They're excellent to cook all sorts of stuff in ...
Everytime you buy something with a brand name ... the company has all sorts of employees with glorified self appointed positions that pay high wages with a company car and other "perks" supplied ... so YOU the customer have to pay those wages , the bosses BMW and mansion mortgage payments , his massage parlour costs for the week , etc etc etc ...
On the other hand ... the picture on a website , brochure or ebay listing forms the description of the item ... So IF the item you receive doesn't match the picture precisely ... then the item is "not as described" and technically ... You have been misled by deceptive trade practices ... All ebayers should show only pictures of the ACTUAL items they are selling to cover their own ass ... or at least explain to the buyer that "what they see is not necessarily what they'll get" ...
I'll be the first to admit that it REALLY does piss you off when what you receive isn't precisely what you saw in the pics and were led to believe you were getting ... I'll bet most sellers wouldn't be too happy if the money you sent them wasn't the right colour with the right pictures and numbers on each note ... OR if the check or money order you sent them wasn't worth the amount stated on them ...
