get over it sikko or should it be sook oh. Its a 155z. Its a little different than the pic. Go ahead and order one from pitster in the US and make sure you specify the PP covers and stuff. Hand over another 500 beans and then start whining about it. Geez you guys get way too emotional about little things. Ever heard the saying dont cry over spilt milk?

^ he seems to be getting very cranky.
i havnt run it yet but im getting excited.

When Pitster USA answers the questions in this Planet Minis thread , we'll know if it's the same situation over there ... Technically IF you buy a Porsche ... you can reasonably expect to get a car that has Porsche badges on it ... not a generic car made by the same manufacturer WITHOUT the brand name on it ... and get told "It's the same thing" ...

GPX, Jialing, GPX, Lifan, YX, Zongshen, etc. - Page 2 - Planet Minis

155 Z Crate Engine

Note that they state [This is the hottest engine on the market and the official Pitster Pro production engines in all the LXR, FXR, models ... and ... Manufacturer: Pitster Pro Motorcycles]

IF the above is true then there's absolutely NO reason WHY they shouldn't have the PP symbols cast into the side cases ... IF not ... then it is without a doubt ... deceptive advertising ...

The point is that they claim to be "stand up" guys helping the mini industry ... stand up means to be 100% honest , up front and above board ...

well..this mentioned company claimed a lot of things lately:p...best move they made: they dropped the prices on their website without notifying their dealers...smart move:rolleyes::D

thats exactly the sort of thing that i was thinking

Yep ... There's no logical reason WHY the crate engines should differ in any way , shape or form to the actual engines fitted to Pitster Pro bikes ... And the lack of a response aka "the sounds of silence" indicates that they're guilty of being deliberate scammers ...

SIKKO sorry for the delay , to start with the motr u have is the same 155z that the usa has and i think u will find that the yanks 1st batch of motors didnt have the logo on them either,
our next batch of motors will have the logo, so dont stress u have the real mc koy,
cheers

PitsterproAUS steps up to the plate with a sound explanation ... Cheers ... Pitster Pro AUS and DHZ ~ Number 1 in AUS ... I've bought engines , bikes and countless other parts needed to build bikes from scratch off 'em without the slightest problem ... excellent price , excellent communication , prompt and efficient delivery ... 100% positive every time ...

Pitster USA on the other hand remains ignorant ... maybe they haven't checked the thread ? ...

i have no problems with the engine, i know that it is a 155z and im happy with it, i just think that when you are selling something, you should have a picture of the engine that they will recieve, not a picture of an engine with pitsterpro covers and then ship out motors with gpx covers.
until you recieve the motors with the proper covers, i recommend changing the picture on your website

^^ one more stupid post today and you can take a week off :)

if it makes you feel better gpx is a pitster pro brand for their engines.

So what's the verdict on how these engines perform ? ... The thing that REALLY matters ...

The engine does go really well!! the gearing is different , 1st is a little to short , 2nd is perfect , and 3rd is a little to tall... change of sprockets should make it abit better.

Its fast! , its got very good torque compared to my 143cc klx
but i havnt really ridden anything else to compare it to.... so all i can say is its fast lol
Supposedly it is faster then the 160's.. because it has a different head design?

Ill see how it goes at HRI this weekend . and will try and get a review up after more use.

Got my 155z today from DHZ, same deal no logos except for a GPX motos cover, but thats cool, it came in a box with a 155z sticker on it and 155 stamped on the head, but is still confusing as why some are stamped 160, Quick postage also
