Thanks mate, I intend on keeping this bike until I can give it to my kids so I don't see it as a waste of money cos I never intend on getting my investment back..

To see the smile on your kids face will make it worth every cent.

I plan on doing the same thing with my 50.

Got my Five-o podium frame in the mail today, looks in good shape just needs to be stripped back to bare metal and re-coated. I'm not really sure which way I will go, either paint or powder but I love the look of the metallic candy apple red. I have started cleaning up the frame tonight with some heavy duty automotive paint stripper and the current coating is coming of pretty easy. I will try and get some more done over the weekend so I can get some quotes next week on getting it re-coated.. I also got a fast50s tapered bearing set & extended break rod today when I ordered my mates TB 88cc RH. He is currently over doing Kokoda and left his stocker in my garage so I thought I would pimp his ride.. Haha

Few pics from tonight

Haha.. Yeah he might start leaving it here more often.. It was up for a rebuild anyway, he bought it brand new in 2004 and has not touched it with a spanner except for maintenance. I'm going to clean it up and might polish the clutch, stator and cam cover if I get enough time.

Chucked the Takegawa hyper coil and red champion spark plug cap on this weekend.

Got the time tonight to finish of my mates bike, just in time for him to get back tomorrow arvo. The only thing that needs fixing still are the front forks, I think the uppers are stuffed cos the clips keep letting go and the bushes drop out.

Thanks mate, I can say the same for u. I'm jealous of ur new parts, I want your go-pro. Make sure you put up plenty of vids once you get a chance to use it. I would have liked to put a new set of tyres on it but ran out of time, I think he will need them soon though with the 88cc RH.. Haha

Finished the frame tonight. There was quite a few hours in the garage polishing the subframe. . Haha. Hopefully will have it installed by the end of the weekend..

Forks will probably be the next thing on the list and then I will get the rims sorted. I have also ordered a set of graphics for the side and front plates of holeshothero cos I ripped one of my side plates of last weekend so I thought now is a good time to put some fresh graphics on. Here is the proofs, he done an awesome job match my current graphics.
