Ok well im gonna be buyin me a china bike in about 1-2 weeks so i thought i would ask some questions about them before i actually get it. The 2 Bikes I have narrowed it down to are the 2009 Pitpro 250cc sxr or the 2008 Pitpro 150xr. sure exactly which one i will get but definatly one of the two. So I really just have a couple of questions about what i should do to them before i go for my first ride or start it.

I've read on these forums or dreamed it, lol, that the fuel tanks should be flushed before they are started to get ride of any crap in the tanks? yes or no?

Heard the chains on these bikes are pretty crappy to and need to be replaced with a better one, whats a nice chain that i should get for it?

Uni filters? I was gonna put one of those on when i got it, is there much of a difference with them?

With the brakes should i replace the china fluid in the lines with a better one? If so whats a good one to use?

Oil, not sure if it comes with it or not but, whats a good oil to use for these bikes? what sorta viscosity is good?

Will replace spark Plug

Brake And Clutch leavers will probably get replaced

tightning of bolts on the bike

Should I change the oil in the forks or is that going a bit far, lol??

Is there other things that i should do when i first get it to make it run a bit longer and last longer?? should i pull some of it apart and give it a clean or are they mostly good in that respect?

Sorry for all the questions, its just i dont want to go out riding for the first time and the bike sh**s itself and i just wasted me money, I want this bike to last a fair while.

Thanks For all the help guys, hopefully i can return the favor one day

Everymod you listed is spot on , good to see some research and though put in rather than gime gime.
Your bike will need a 428 pitch chain , try a RK MX428Z chain.
Get a uni filter , does your bike come with an airbox?
If you can bleed out the brakes do so , china fluid boils up quickly
Tighten and loctite and if you can replace the bolts
Run the bike in on mineral oil then bump it up to a semi 10w/40
Do the fork oil too , the oil in there is transportation oil and works ****.

Hey just an update, went down there today and Looked at the bikes and i've decided to get the 250 sxr, The only thing is that it comes fully assembled and ready to ride, so yeah, would the guys down at city motorbikes do anything such as flushin out the tank or any of that or would they just place fuel in and start it up?

anyway i took some pics of the bike so that ya can see the bike im talkin about it. copy of the yamaha plastics, electric start, suspension is mounted properly not just straight on the swingarm, watercooled, 18" rear 21" front and yeah lol,
