Hey fellas,
Just wondering if anyone is running there bike with one of these HP CDI's..if so did you notice any power gain and was it worth it???
 
I'm interested for my Pit Pro 125RR Motard. I'm thinking of keeping the fly wheel etc. as I think an IRK won't make much difference in circuit racing. A different ignition though would definitely have an effect. What's worth getting out there?
 
i had a "speeding cdi" on my bike before i put an irk on it and i felt it made a difference the bike would rev up quicker and have heaps more throttle snap
 
yeah i think i mite get one too! they plug straight into the existing connection...right????
 
yeah may aswell see how it goes im gonna start searching ebay now lol!
 
...Bullsh%%t ..no one needs a different CDI exept the existing is burned....don´t get fooled by all this hype!!!
If you got an inner rotor it´s the rotor who makes the difference!!

yeh but it also has a matched cdi allowing the rotor to do its job properly
 
So none of these "rev" CDI's make any difference? Doesn't change the ignition map for more advance etc??
 
Ive heard some of these aftermarket cdi's actually perform worse than the stock china ones.
 
yes they make a difference the usually advance the curve allowing the engine to get more power from each bang. i would recommend one as i noticed a difference on my bike.

Hey guys these little CDi's work a bit better than the staock one, but I run an IRK now so have no use for the old cdi. $35 including post if anyone wants it. Cost me $60 a few months back. It is as new.

IRK comes with its own cdi rev box diff wiring

Yeah IRK comes with its own CDI has new wiring and is mapped differenty

ey i believe they are good even though i got a takegawa hyper CDi but yeh i found more mid range power and better throtle response and this is on mi lifan 125 so yeh i reckon look around and be carefull of wat u buy
