well myne has a cdi on it and it smashes my mates one and myne has **** all compresion his is like new mynes a ducar the compression didnt last long once i put the cdi on
I spoke to the guy down at City motorbikes who runs Motovert race bikes. He said he put one in a while ago just by itself, CDI that is, and it made no noticeable difference. IRK will take away the flywheel and hence spin up quicker etc.. but as for more advance on the ignition curve (what give you more torque and power), he said the CDI didn't do anything.
the onlt diferece it made was in the peak revs if you held it flat it would hit the valves and my mates one would not even rev that hard the reason i lost compresion was cos it let it rev a little harder so i held it to its peak all day every day and as the weeks go buy it gets less and less compression
