High po cams

Wellafter doing some reading ive figured out how install a cam.

Any suggestions on where to get race cams? And kind of carbs, and head kit which match to make extreme power. As i know from other 4strokes that everything must match to have a killer set up.

what kind of bike do you have? honda50 or China?

125cc lifan with the e2 head(big valves), i got it stock like that.

Also with a hot cam, do you have to worry about valve breakage, the cam is 250 lift. Will the stock springs handle this.

So far this is what im doing to my engine after break in.

-250 lift hot cam
-High comp piston
-port work
-breather
-maybe a 30mm keihin?? or is that too much?

yes it is compared to standard. But I would look at buting from a shop rather than ebay for this gear as then you can at least talk to someone who should know there stuff and advise you on springs and alike

For a start , he's not a registered user ! And that is the short 66 mm cam used on E22 heads which are small valve . Lifan 125's take either the long 73 mm cam on the small valve heads , OR the Honda type cam on the big valve heads ! Some heads will take BOTH the Honda type and the long cams .

Your best bet is to take the cam out of the engine FIRST to measure it in order to avoid messing up and buying the wrong one !
