how to clean your plastics?

any ideas how to clean your plastics when they start to get a bit old and when washing them wont clean them,cause it almost looks like they are stained?with out buying new ones,coz they are still in good condition apart from staining,colour fading slighty any ideas?

i just buy new 1's when they get ******, & give the old 1's to my lil Bro's (They still run Stock CRF's)

don't leave them out in the sun in the frst place, i have had mine for a year and i still see my reflection in them thats how shiny they still are.

Wash your bike after every ride and they will never stain along with everything else on your bike what will stain.

might try the cut and polish idea,only reason they r like that is coz the bike is old 1987,am still deciding what type of mini bkie to get
