G'day all, I'm gonna start this thread to show my bike as it changes to suit my stylings. It may be slow to start as I try to learn how to navigate this site. Posting pics will be my first challenge.
I bought my 2011 Pitster Pro LXR off a mate who raced it successfully before returning to racing big bikes. The Daytona 150 twin cam was already fitted when I bought it and was definitely the reason I was sold on this bike (as he had/has other lxr's for sale)
I was also keen on this bike knowing it was already race prepped and ready to go with little mods all over it.
When I found it, it had been sitting in his shed for approx 18 months gathering dust. Flat tires and stale fuel in the tank. A splash of fresh juice and she fired up 2nd kick. Hearing the crack of that twin cam motor and I was sold.!!
I got her home and gave it a good going over. Cleaned out the carb, cleaned and oiled the air filter, went over all the nuts n bolts, pumped up the tires and took her for a blat down the park. Instantly blown away by the power and rev range of this engine I couldn't wait to get her on the track. This bike is my return to the Moto scene after a 5 year hiatus. I used to race minis back in the hay day until I broke my knee avian and forced me to sell my race bike and some gear and hang up my helmet. I always said I'd be back for Vets class and well now I'm 36 and I've got that itch again so here I am.
