Ok so today i got the big girl some new shoes, happy with the look/end result...Will look better when the swinger and shock turns up

Got the axle issue sorted (now on the rear) so just need to trim the sliders to match the front

Might need some rubber too...

not sure yet, spoke to a guy a Greame morris m/cycles they specialize in scooters and he was tellin me about some pirrellis and Metzlers he had..so see how it goes, lookin at 120's (rear) nice and wide

Hahaha nah mate not scared at all...it is actually very easy to clean any spills..it might look clean but it does get used (then cleaned straight away lol)

Hey Wayne have you thought about how high this is going to sit? I am no motard expert nor have I ever ridden on tarmac but I have read its all about getting the bike as low as possible and it looks like you are using the 730mm forks and now have ordered a 290mm shock? Both of which are the longer options.

Hope it all turns out nicely just thought I would bring this up as it seems to be quite important.

Having your bike as low as possible is not always a good thing. Your pegs will scrap. It should be an awesome bike once you're finished.

The shock he bought is shorter than the stock one but not sure exactly how much shorter though. Theres also a bit of room to slide the forks further up the clamps to so it should hopefully end up at a nice ride height. Hurry up and get it rolling Wayne so we can see lol.

Are they the 3.0/3.5 rims from DHZ?

I'll be interested to see how the rubber ends up on them, hopefully with a 120/? on them they don't flatten out to badly
