gidday i have off my mate a 49cc kazuma motor and it has not went since i got it i have pulled the head its self off had a little look and gave the top of the piston a clean up and what not put it back together and still it would not fire the carby i put on is a ------ lol i dont even know lol i just looked and cant find what size it is although the air filter hose clamp says fits a 32 - 34 not that i would go off that but just an example i really have no idea why it wont start it seemed to have enough compression to start it it also has spark and it was getting fuel into the bottom of the bowl in the carby so why i have no clue hope someone can help even just throw ideas at me and i will try them all cheers

P.S i also have a 107cm3 size motor on a pitty, when i go to start it sometimes it does like a back spin kinda thing maybe and its like a crunch and grind sound and then a puff of smoke will come out the air filter lol any ideas on that would be good too thank you much appreciated. Hope im not asking too much.

Nathan.

also i would like to add i took the head off and the barrel/ cylinder and it was full of dirty oil the piston was soaked and the outlet valve seems to be sticking out and the pisotn is to the bottom now with a car i would say timing could be 180 out as for these bikes i really do not know as simple as they are to work on i still would like a few opinions, has any one got any video tutorials on how to time one of these engines thanks.

well he isn't a real good mate if he sold you that and didn't say it had problems.

Could it posibly be a wiring problem??

should be pulling the head off at TDC, not BDC...

ok, with the 110(107) could be 1, bent valve stem, 2, inadequate valve clearance, 3, blown rings, 4 leaking valve stem seal, 5 a combination of all of the above:)

though i dont know which engine your talking about...except i think the 50 is a two stroke, so wouldnt have a valve.... different threads please:)

mate it is a 49cc and it is not a 2 stroke and yes it has valves the motor is actually out of a little 4 wheeler which i have put into a buggy i have half made half already existing, i have just finished putting it all back together and bought a can of aerostart as first attempt was no good and being electric start only kinda sucks because my battery keeps dieing but not to worry point is i finally had it going it runs good when the revs are up but from around idle to accelleration it takes a bit for it to build up the revs could this be new rings?? that is my guess as it will start with a good charged of the battery and a few sprays of cat piss and away she goes but like i said it takes a bit to get the revs up... thanks.

mate he gave it to me not running along with another motor which i think is either a 125 or a 110 but it has a clutch mind you it also does the same thing im thinking rings with the both engines. cheers.......

sorry, i just got majorly confused cause you put two different engines in the same thread:eek:

and other than crf and ttr's and all them...not many 50cc 4strokes...especially on china bikes/quads

ah well, shes going:)

try stripping the carbie and giving it a good clean out for the idle/mid range probs...sounds like an idle jet blockage

new rings should make it run sweet, and...hang on...you put a 50cc in a buggy and have a 110 sitting there?
