so ive come to the conclusion that ddr frames suck balls and motovert frames are so much better. the brake pedal issues i had on the previous frame are gone, the pedal fits perfectly and works perfectly to... :)

nice one dude, and yeah those crf 50 copy frames are so weak! i had another good look at my old one and found a few more cracks around the 2 engine mount fins, theere wasnt even welds, just tacks! oh well my new frame should kick ass, as should yours ! :) good job on that pedal aswell, glad it could go on in the end, another little bling bit!

lucky u swapped the frames out then mate would of sucked hitting a jump and the frame crumbles around ya engine lol.... ive pretty much got her back together just got to paint the forks and find a suitable throttle cable for the 1/4 turn throttle i got all the ones on ebay have wont fit grrr

haha, the parts war!!!
*starts looking on ebay for an appropriate throttle cable for the 1/4 turn throttle*
What length??

oh i see, thats one of the older style set ups, i can see why your having trouble finding one.

hmm, i see, being a japanese item, you may have problems gotting a chinese item to fit? what happened to your original cable? you might have to repair it, or worst case, get a new throttle assembly?
maybe this. i just typed in "pit bike throttle cable" in to ebay.
PIT Bike Thumpstar Trail PRO Black Throttle Assembly 1100mm Cable | eBay

theres also this different type, maybe the one your after? but may not be long enough.
Accelerate Throttle Cable Trail Dirt PIT Bike 70 110 125cc Atomik Thumpstar | eBay

the cable that came with it was miles to long so i cut it down and tried to re attach the end to no avail the solder just wouldnt take to it.... the first link up there : cable tension-er diameter is to wide, and the second : u r correct the cable travel is not long enough... i guess i might have to buy a whole new throttle set up, which suxs but i guess its only 30 odd bucks i wasted grrr wish **** would happen a little easier atm

yea mate i hear ya, pitbikes are surprisingly expensive...Shame about that dude, but sometimes you just gotta grin and bear it unfortunately...

pretty much... might just e mail dhz and see if they can send me one of those pretty cnc jokers and the right throttle cable to match the throttle itself and the oko 26mm thats on the bike...

with soldering on a new tip. I just customized a pit bike throttle and cable to work on a peewee. I cut the small bead off and cut the sleeve down a bit and then made a ball of solder on the end of the cable for a new bead. I was surprised at how strong it's on there and even pulling on it with piers didn't make it come off.

You need to get it pretty hot and start out with a tiny bit on the end and then build it up slowly. It helps to drip some on there and then heat it back up to set it into the cable.

yeah im not to bad with the soldering but if the cable itself has to many impurities ie made with sh@t it just wont take i tried building it slowly, cranked my soldering iron onto 180w and it just refused to take, thanks for the advice tho...

Fray the ends a little bit and clean it with some wax and grease remover and then start on the very tip and once you have a tiny bit on there, drip/wipe more onto it off the tip and it will work :) I had big trouble with mine to but it does work.

Another way is to drill a hole in a bit of wood and then melt solder into the hole and while heating it up, stick the cable in the hole and stop heating and it will grab onto the wire and make a new bead at the end.

i soldered my accelerator cable 3 years ago and its fine, just do what ricky said, it all worked for me, good luck :)
