Pull the jets out and blow through them. With ya mouth.
Check you can see light through the hole.

all 3 jets you have to see through? i pulled them out, could see through 2. but couldnt see through the third.. couldnt clean it though

3 jets, there should only be 2. The 2 your interested in will be in the middle inside of the carby next to each other, did you pull the mixture screw or idle screw or something, if so you wont see thru them. You need a compressor to clean a carb properly as sometimes the crap is in the casting that you cant see, maybe let it sit in some carby cleaner for a night or so, but still interested in what other part you cleaned(the 3rd jet) or are you talkin about the float needle?

ah ****.. probably took the mixture screw out.. thats why it wasnt lined up..., i lined it back up though...
so ill have to clean the carby properly :)

completely cleaned carby.. cleaned jets etc..
tooth brush in and out.. put it back on.. it still doesnt idle properly and when i rev it feels like if i rev it the tiniest bit its too much power... like a 1/4 throttle race throttle thingy... if you understand...
new manifold bolts aare going in tomoz.. i checked the seals and everything.. air filter is clean.. fixed the fuel line. fresh fuel, not bogging as much, only for first few revs.. but it wont idle now and feels like its revving too hard

Is the slide in the carb free moving up and down, have you got another plug and CDI to try just to eliminate a few more things. And even though you matched the blue line on the mixture screw doesnt mean it is right, when you get the bike running turn the idle screw up until it idles on its own steam, then have a tinker with the air mixture screw turning it slowly in both directions and hopefully it will start to pick up revs and smooth out. what carb are running a 19mm kf or jingke, 25mm jingke, 26mm mikuni? you can measure this on the carby were the intake pipe joins the carby. is the air mixture screw underneath next to the bowl or on the side next to the idle screw

it says honda mikuni on it... its a 38mm air filter.. dunnno the carby size..underneath the bowl towards the back is the mixture screw, its moving up and down, it opens up fully, but doesnt close completely, probs a 5-8mm gap.. is this an issue?

the gap will be less if you look at it from the other side(were the carb joins the intake) you will know if its wrong as the carby will be revving to high at idle, when you snap the throttle on and off(with engine off)you should hear the slide hit the bottom of the carby, if not then it is to high and can be adjusted by the idle screw on the side, can you adjust the mixture screw while the bike is running?

i cant adjust the screw whilst its running.. because its in a tight spot..., ill try get onto it, would a video help? because ill do that tomrrow

Its in a ***** of a spot, screw the mixture screw right in(clockwise) then back it out 1 and a half turns(anti-clockwise), then put it back on the bike and start it, if not happy then remove it again and start going a half turn only(or a quarter if you thinks it getting better) each time but if you reach 3 turns maximum then its to far, usually 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 turns depending on carb,

thanks heaps, but you could tighten it in so far, and your starting point might be different from my view..

sounds like the mixture screw, try and adjust it a little each time

UPDATE :
got new manifold bolts, changed fuel, cleaned fuel line, new oil, completely cleaned carby/jets etc..
but i took out the mixture screw, i think this is what has ruined me....
Spark plug i will be checking next..
But i hear for the mixture screw its 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 turns .. but is that when its completely screwed in? then you reverse it ? or whats the go ... i cant turn my mixture screw when the carbys on the bike... so i have to turn it of, unbolt it and so on...
help would be appreciated thanks so much guys !

Wind it all the way in and then come out 1.5 turns and see how it goes. Try moving it out 1/4 of a turn at a go till it is right.
