Sounds like you need a new carby if the mixture screw is stuffed? A carby with a stuffed mixture screw wont work well at all

+Really hard to diagnose the trouble through the interweb?

Cant turn the mixture screw on the bike?
Can you get a pic of the carb showing the mixture screw?

i said i can turn it , i just have to take the carby off because its in a complicated space to get to.. as i said above...

Yeah I know you said you can turn the mixture when you take it off

Just curious what sort of carby it is that you cant turn the mixture when it is on the bike?

Some pics might help?

Its in a ***** of a spot, screw the mixture screw right in(clockwise) then back it out 1 and a half turns(anti-clockwise), then put it back on the bike and start it, if not happy then remove it again and start going a half turn only(or a quarter if you thinks it getting better) each time but if you reach 3 turns maximum then its to far, usually 1-1/2 to 2-1/2 turns depending on carb,

Ive been told im hard to understand

**** rotn.. didnt even see that, needa scroll through things more careully...
big thanks to dhz and rotn, ill keep posted to whats been happening..

All good mate, keep us posted on your progress and let me know if i can help.

okay another update :
kicked the motor today after turning the mix screw..
still doesnt idle.. was riding perfect.... but didnt idle..
i was completely happy with it..
but then later that day, it started bogging/losing power again..
still doesnt idle..
any ideas?

shame you dont have another carby, even a new cheap 19mm will run okay, your only selling it, but id be chasing a new carby, its whats in the carby casting that you cant see that can #@%$ you sometimes.

My little 110cc mini willy jeep was running really good the other night and then it went bad, it would go from good to bad constantly, then run good and im think sweet then it would go to the s%$#, and it would not idle either, it was the spark arcing from the plug cap to the head, a good way to diagnose this is to pull the plug out and put it in the plug cap and hold the cap(not the plug) and if you feel any kind of spark its arcing, or get it running at night and look at the plug and check for arcing , you will see it if it is.

ah thanks,, selling this,, should i buy a x4r with hd rims and spokes, v2 head and new carby, for $700. or the crf50 that has tranny problems?

Nothing against hondas but there prob more expensive to replace parts for, but if the x4r is running good and has the v2(still check over it) id be grabbing that mate for sure:clap:, more aftermarket options also, i know what i would lad, but in the end its your choice, think quick you dont want to let it slide if its a good bike thats been relatively well looked after.

yeah its a mates bike... its worth the money for sure.. honda is so expensive, so ima get this x4r instead.. sounds like a good bike!

spot on lad good choice, im signn off for the night jammo, take it easy. left ya a little note on the chat forum at the bottom:)

I said ya dreamn about that engine, but dreams do come true for about 10% of us and im not in that 10% haha
