hey people jsut bought a ngk spark plug . havnt put it in yet, but i will tomorrow. does anyone know how this helps and what it does. i also herd it that it genrates 5% more power..
cheers

NGK is only a BRAND NAME!

it like buying Coke and Homebrand Cola, they are both cola but ones better than other etc hehe,

the NGK will last longer, but thats it, 5% no way, you wont even notice the difference in power.

I noticed a bit more power when i put mine in

I dont know mine seemed to idle better after I fitted an NGK Plug. I would recommend doing it. 5% is dreaming but.

I agree 5% is a bit much but it did make a diffrance

yeah mine runs alot better with the irridum ngk plug

I noticed that the NGK plug I bought was a different heat range so had a bigger insulator. I think I have heard that because the plug takes up more space you get a slightly better compression ratio and thats the improvement you see. I heard this in reference to irridium plugs too. But irriduims advantage is that they last heaps longer which dosent make much difference in an offroad, but in a 4cyl road bike where you have to take off fuel tank, air box, coil packs and then the plugs themselves are hard to get at and install then its is a BIG advantage.
