Gday guys ive got a 07 pp 140xr and have got problems. when i first got it it was hard to start and when it did it went good but broke down up top. i stuffed with the mixture but couldnt get it right so i took it to a shop they did the valve clearances and tuned it up and it was easy to start but still broke down up top. it went really good down low but up top broke down and was very frustrating. then after a five minute ride just stoped and i couldnt get it going so i took it home cleaned the carb changed the fuel filter and away it went. just as it started to warm up it died again. ive cleaned the carb several times and even changed carbs but the problem is still there . the bike is still practicaly new as i havnt been able to get a good ride on it . i now have the feeling that it is an intermitant electrical problem has anyone had a similar problem .im at my wits end with this bike. it would be a top bike if it would go and be reliable . are any of the electrics known to be problems .if so which should i try first or change them all? also i think it has an inner rotor on it. are they known to be faulty Please help me any help would be appreciated Cheers Chris

Highly possible that your CDI is faulty. Pretty common. Change that first and see how you go. Just get a stock Lifan replacement part, since they work fine.
