ridding thumbstar

Hi

i spoke to a police man today and ask where is it legally to ride these thumbstar . He basically told me this bike is illegal to ride anywhere apart from private property. So is this true? then there is no point for me to buy one of these biek at all as i got no room in back yard.

What about national part ? how can i get permit to ride there?

It's not illegal to ride at a propper motorbike track.

remember the fines for being caught are nearly $2000 with certain cops,

its $700 just for riding with no license and rego!

heaps of people in my area are getting $1800 fines for riding up and down there own street,

if you got no where to ride it, go find another hobby, all you'll end up doing is getting a big fine and adding to the already bad name sensible riders are copping now!

yeah we like to call them the fun-police... but apparently there is a track out near Victor Harbor but i'm not sure its exact location, all its is to get in a small donation, you have to get someone over the age of 18 to say you wont sue and its open every second sunday. If you look around the site i'm pretty sure you'll find the track information. Good Luck
