Well bit over a week, I get busy too....building stuff! So the re-built bottom end, and some work on the top end of the 125 motor. Damn this bike sounds good....so in-love atm, probably wont photo comp it cause you know the expensive bikes will win over a good looking china bike everytime!!

i noticed you had posted in this thread, and thought i'll have to edit the title. :laughing-smiley-002

the bottom end wasn't rebuilt though, just the gearbox
the 125 sounds like it like's my porting too

Yes I think it liked the porting somewhat...I kept riding it cause I cant get over how freaking good it sounds...looks good sounds good...that'll do me. Except there is a guy on fb swaps that possibly has an LXR for $700 so looks like I may be going into debt again if thats the case!

Yeah she more imposes limits not enforceable rules! It was only a motovert frame with a Daytona 150 in it....nothing particularly special!

daytona 150? 4 valve or the older t-rex? i would of jumped on that money troubles or not if it was down here.... what motovert frame? the motovert bikes is far better than the thump star/ atomik/ pit pro bikes in my experience. the motovert frame im using in the 160 build is over 400 hundred bucks to buy and ship from america..... you have to be the first person ive heard use motovert, daytona and nothing special in a sentence....

No idea, probably not many things like that come up in SA! I had a chat to the guy on facebook....wasnt really keen after that!

The guy selling it was the problem like if you have owned a bike like that for a long time, why A. is it up for sale past 8pm on a week night...why does it need to be sold NOW, why didnt he know if it has a linkage or not(when its 'his bike and he knows whats on it')....really I think it was stolen....cant see a reason as to why that guy would have a bike like that...who all of a sudden decides they need to sell it at 8pm on a tuesday night!

Oh and he kept saying it was a complete bike yet it has no handlebars.....tripper....sounded a bit to scammy to me!! Prob rock up with $700 and get smacked in the back of the head with a cricket bat and wake up somewhere far far away with a head wound, no vehicle and no money....

because his local dealer was gonna drop him for his debt or a urgent need for cash to pay rent etc etc...... and you would be surprised how many ppl are completely clueless to what 'linkage' is. i would of gone with a mate to check it out, if he is that clueless you could get it even cheaper. as for the stolen problem, you ask him for the vin number. his subsequent willingness or lack there of to give you the vin number usually tells you all you need to no....

Nice one Bilco512 thanks for updating it for me!! Where abouts do you guys live!!?? Ive been moving, got married and have no real internet connection for the next few days yet! Sounds like you might need some bigger springs in your shocks for jumps like that!!! Looks like fun I need some ramp time to get used to jumping a pit bike rather than a bmx!! Bloody keen though...missed jumping for the last few years!! Ill post a hill climb vid of the new back yard soon as I get some real internet :thumbup:
