my standard sprockets are 43 rear and 17 front.

i can get 37 and 16 for my bike, is this a big difference.

will i notice it?

thanks

please i need help asap as i am going to the bike shop tomorrow

thanks heaps, should i go 16 37 or 17 37.
and how can i measure the length of the new chain because its going to be shorter.

and do i get 420 or 428 pitch :S

thanks

thanks

and do rear sprockets measure like 420 and 428 like the front or the rear fit all chains?

come on *bump* *bump* this bloke needs some help.. ive giving him some but come on guys pull your fingers out or wat eva there in and type type =D

If your chain is 12mm wide it is 420 pitch and if it is 13mm wide it is 428 pitch.

ok ill check it now.. but i want more top speed without changing the acceleration alot

what do you guys think

16 - 37
or
16- 39

Not sure what my front sprocket is, think its a 16 but I wouldnt run anything else than a 37 rear, I tryed a 41 once and it was terrible, went back to 37.

ok but if i use a 37 rear will my acceleration be much lower than it is now.

I have a spare sprocket ill count the teeth on it and ill count the teeth on my mso.

I'm not sure what my mso is running but I have a spare 37 tooth sittin in my shed.

i have already put one on hold man thanks anyway. just getting some ideas before i fit it on now im trying to decide between 37 and 39 rear?????

Hardly makes any acceleration difference, but it gives it quite alot more speed, alot better.
