I just bought a 50 with a stock motor that I want to upgrade to an 88cc. I have been looking at my options and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what the difference would be if I got a kit with a different cam vs. one without a cam? I'm mostly going to be using it to stunt, every now and again I'll take it to the local go kart track to race. Thank you for your help.

Piston and bore = good
Piston, bore and cam = slightly better
Piston, bore and race head (has cam) = best

Obviously carb swapmakes a difference, you can rejet the stocker and with a bore kit will give heaps of extra torque down low but will be asthmatic in the upper rev range(for stunting that extra torque down low may be all you want). But slap on an 18-20mm carb (and a tapered inlet manifold if a stock head, tb parts make one) and unleash the full potential.

Speed is just a question of money, how fast do you wanna go?
