In vic its only if its been out of rego for 3 months or it isnt registered in vic( my rx was and is regd in nsw atm)

Once rego is done ill be putting tge 160 in as the 125 is a pure clagger and hate it after 70 kms lol

Picked up the rwc today and will be regoing in next few days

Fitted some mini led indicators on the rear

And also replaced **** glass fuse holder for a clean little mini fuse

Looking great man. Ive been using mine as my work horse. But another battery has shat itself and leaked acid all over my swingarm :( just bought a lithium one just now and see how it goes
 
^^ check how many volts are going into the battery, you might cook the lithium one too?
The regulator part of the reg/rect might be faulty?
 
how would i check it? when it comes to electrics im clueless. I noticed it last night when the headlights were dimming on and off and then today the speedometer would stop working while i was riding, and the blinkers were acting like the battery was flat. Then i noticed the swingarm and acid around the battery holder. And then tonight it was fine, no dimming or anything.

Get yourself a cheap multimeter, jaycar have a pocket one for $6 iirc.
Set it to DC volts and put the red lead from meter to the positive battery terminal and the black lead to the negative terminal.
Start and run the bike and check the reading on the meter.
It should be close on 12.5 volts at idle, then go up to 13.8 volts at 2500 rpm and higher.
Anything over that will wreck your battery

Get rid of the battery and run a mini capaciter..no battery headsches but no elec start..owell lol
