Hey mate. I have my engine to put into my postie, just about to drill out the top bolt, as for the adaptor kits, is DRATV the only place to get them from, ideally i would love one like yours but dont have a welder or a plasma cutter, and kind of want to get it up running.

Whats the go with testing engine out of the frame. Bought a yx140 today, and its going in a postie and want to get it running before i drill out the top bolt hole etc so if its a dud i find out now.

i could. but the gearbox is stuffed. the clutch is stuffed. and it vibrates really badly and have a feeling that someone has bored it out before.

braaap sell the yx140 for $325, so even at an extra $50 would still be a good price, but im pretty hesitant to buy it now, i dont want to buy something that has been cheapafied.

yeah that doesn't suprise me either, whats an oil cooler kit worth? i was under the impression that you couldn't remove the oil cooler because then the oil didn't reach all the parts of the engine.

sooo. braaap said today that they wern't. that they were air cooled and they could be oil cooled.

so ummmmm. Are they?

sorry guys. i was looking at them all in the online stores, the lifan 140's are pictured with the cooler and is listed in the comes with, where as the yx's arent shown or listed. just wanted to ask, as the 125's are air cooled and i didn't think it was that greater a leap for a 140 to be air...

a couple of questions about lindseys pink postie. Disc brakes? nice. how was this done ? did he just put on xr100 forks and wheel ? What tyres is he running ? they look sticky and i have the only tyres that my local bike store would sell me. Thanks guys.

Why the 140 over the 125? I guess my question is, does the 140 have considerably more power than the 125?

So my postie (ct110) engine is dieing. I think it took water in the air intake, when housed outside (we live in an apartment in melbourne). The gearbox has nearly had it. So i am going to dump a lifan engine into it. I am pretty tempted to put in a lifan 125cc ala : Genuine Lifan Black...
