Akunar G'day, I just brought a high lift cam for lifan big valve head from akuna.com in thailand, at a great price. It is huge 6.9ml lift. Looks like I need to change the valve springs as valves are slightly open at top dead centre. Good luck.

25ml with 97.5main I run the same motor with a 25ml carbie and 97.5 main jet out of the 30ml carb. Seems to work great where I live 1000m above see level. Went to cambeltown a few weeks ago and it ran the same down their. Perfect. Ride on.

Thanks, what are the valve reliefs Are are the valve reliefs, how do I enlarge them. Can I just get the machinist to do it when he does the rebore? Far out 2 strokes are so much simplier, these 4strokes blow my mind sometimes. Thanks for all the help fella's. Ride on.

Weird G'day mate. Don't know about that, except that piston might be hittinga valve. I was told slight shaving of the piston might be necesary for proper valve clearence. Good luck, let me know how you go.
