So I have an 110cc orion pit bike.. I turned it on went for a ride and the bike was ridding perfect. However when I came in to take a break i turned it off with the kill switch and then when i went to go turn it on again it wouldnt start...how do you check for a spark ...Wat can be wrong...help..

to check for a spark,, take out the plug and put in on the head and try to kick it ova,, it should have a lil spark,, make sure the lead is on it too

ur kilswitch may be stuck on.
test it with a multimeter.

Would you change gear in your car without the clutch? Never a good idea

It depends how your kid rides it. My mates son has a 125 bike with clutch. He cant use the clutch yet. He takes off sloww with clutch in second and then doesnt change gears from there. He hasnt hurt anything but he has to use the clutch for take off and stopping. I personally rarely use a clutch when changing up gears but definately use it when changing down.

using a clutch is all on the timing... i can change down and up without it, but its all to do with when you throttle...give it a squirt, and JUST as you back off, change...dont try doing it either way with power applied....most gearboxes wont let you anyway...

now back on to the thread topic...checking for spark... can leave your plug in if you put a screwdriver or something in the cap...leave a lil gap so you can see the spark if there is one... dont hold it,:p it hurts. or use the handle:)
best to take the plug out though so you can see if its fouled, not fighting compression when you kick it, etc etc etc.
