ok heres my problem,
mum has just bought me a pair of motard tyre but i need a 12" front rim...
only problem is the actual motard rims from dhz are 15mm axle only.
so im faced with either not running a front motard tyre or drilling it out ut then i cant put my dirt tyre back in coz its a 12mm only!
any advice?
what can i do?
help!
thanks,
james

this one's easy james, just buy some 12mm wheel bearing and a spacer. Email Ken at DHZ, he should be able to sort you out with some 12mm wheel bearings.. :)

yeah email ken, if he cant help, go to a local bearing supplier... they're relatively easy to find... or search 12mm wheel bearings on ebay...
Try emailing Ken, he may be able to help out, just cause he doesnt have it listed, doesnt mean he doesnt have it. worth a try..
Obviously you'll need to take the wheel bearings out of your new rim, and put the new ones in...
Of failing that, if you are getting motard rims from DHZ, ask Ken if he can supply them with 12mm wheel bearings to begin with. :)

well apparently you cant do that thump????

go to the local bearing shop, take a 12mm axel and the hub with 15mm axels, ask them what they got for it. other wise you could drill the forks to fit 15mm.. if you dont have a drill bit it will be like 55 bucks, so a better option would be go to a metal fabrication place and ask nicely to drill the forks to 15mm with a pedistool drill. they might charge you a few bucks, but saying that they might take care of ya for being a kid:) (slowly not working for me any more haha)
(ps. the first bit will only work if you got the wheels, and you dont yet ay?)

Hey Bud,

Try taking your axle and hub down to your local bearing place (CBC etc) they should be able to help you out.

Cheers,

Jordy
