Good job on the bike too. Coming along nicely. Also, I doubt that needle was broken. A lot of needles from that era weren't actually adjustable and only had one setting. Different needles were purchased individually as required. Pre 90 MX is really picking up in popularity if you were interested in that. Those guys ride and race on some very good, fun tracks.

i did buy a bran new needle and it had all the clip positions on it and I can tell the orig needle was broken it was all twisted and rough as yes agree with with you there swappermx the old vmx bikes are back on demand a lot of ppl wanting them over the last 12 months has picked up more and more are coming onto the market

my IT200 VM34SS runs a #60 Pilot Jet and a #360 Main Jet.
standard jetting was #55 Pilot, and #330 Main
