I would love to own the husaberg :) one day i will get the 300 exc or somthing
the power is a little unusable on the dirt though till like 6th gear

haha yeah true that, but what about the gas gas ec300?? stock with zochies and is meant to be one of the best bush bikes around...if u can afford one new or get one second hand that is ;)

i wouldnt mind one, not complianced..
i could probably get a new huskvarna 300 and pay it off but a rmx 250 would be about the same riding experiance and cheaper

true, the rmx's have still got some power to boot aswell, why not a klx? my mate has one for sale, needs full re-build though, he has trashed the crap out of it....such a waste....

if were not talkin much cash at all then i would consider it
however if he wants too much for it the rmx's are pretty cheap

fair enough, it all comes to down to money in the end....Anyway dude, good luck with your sale, im sure it'll go well!

i found a 98 RMX250 for my mate, he was getting tired of his 04 XR400

the Suzuki had been crash by the old owners mate, he hit WOT out of a corner and quickly lost control.
he was thrown off, and the bike flipped over 4 times before before coming to a stop.
it broke the rear alloy subframe in a couple of places, bent the bars, and damaged the muffler and some plastics.
we picked up the bike for $300 and fixed it up
it owes my mate just over $600 now, so still pretty good
and when my mate is ready, it will return to being a road registered 2 stroke.
just needs some indicators and some minor tidy ups.

the powerband on that bike is awesome, it pulls the front into the air at 1/4 throttle and up in most gears.

niuce deal there, no doubt about that!! would be nice havin a 2t that you can ride on the road :)

yeah i agree, i'm hoping to register my IT200 later in the year too

it will cost me around 2k around here to get a neat one and then i will have to get it roadworthy and whatnot
i was thinking of putting a rm 250 top end and powerpipe on if i have a problem with the powervalve, power

The engines are the same aren't they? Just the flywheel and gearbox is different? I'm finding your posts amusing Zac cause you only just discovered 2 strokes! Wait till u get a 250! I would never ever own a 250 four stroke, 2 bangers anyday.

nah the 1998 rmx came out with different porting i believe and a different frame for compliance etc etc..
SOME ONE BUY MY rm 125 :p
I want the 250 before next month (so i can ride her on my first day of my l's )

i have discovered 2bangers in the form of 80's when i was a little younger and fell in love
Ever since i have longed for a decent 2stroke of any year or make :)
yeah this sounds like a love story.. because it is ;-)
my 1st bike was a 100 daytona (or somthing) 2banger rode the fat wheels off her

Even on a 4t its very rare im riding on the lower rpms so i dont need it

They need to be past 1998 to be registered (different frame etc)
unfortunately...
been getting offers for 1k for the rm 125.. if only they new i was looking for 350 more

the 4th and 5th ones are 1998 models, there was a 2000 model too iirc, may have been in NSW though ?
