just when you are draining your carby...when i did it all i did was drain it using the overflow screw at the bottom and it just drained all the petrol and water out of it. so i figured there was no need to pull the whole thing off...:D
 
Can some one help i have no spark would that be because my magneto i dont know if that is stuffed... i have taken the thng of that has the spark plug extension on it does any one think it would be that??? help
 
Dude if you have no spark your stator probably stuffed. Theyre pretty cheap I guess you should get a multi meter (analogue prefferbly) and connect it to +ve side of spark coil to -ve side. Then get someone to kick the bike over if you have no diffelectionon the meter work backwards until you find a source that does. If you get nothing it has to be the stator.

If you do get spark but it still dosent start then spray some ether (start you *******) down the plug hole or a little bit of petrol. WD40 can just foul the plug up. IF it starts but soon dies your fuel system is to blame.
