gday all
cool forum im new to this pitbike scene ad im after some info.
im down here in tassie and looking at buying my fisrt pitbike i went and had a look at the braaap 150 maesrto any body know much about these or the braaap bikes.it seems to be the only brand you see about down here.

thanks donk

I'm from Tassie too and I have the cheaper Braap Pro 140. The bike goes great, had it for a couple of months and given it hell and only broken a couple of small things like the petrol cap etc. nothing that has cost an arm and a leg and Braap themselves would most probably replace these parts if I asked but I have been upgrading with each new part. So you shouldn't have many problems with a Maestro.
I have a mate who bought last years Maestro 150 and I went riding with him at Port Arthur and he actually couldn't stay with me at top speed and being a lot smaller than the Pro he also had alot of stability issues, couldn't ride up some big hills like I was and the bigger bikes and he is actually quite a good rider, been riding for 25 years. Hopefully the new ones are better, they certainly look better and are bigger.

thanks for the reply fz6 tas.as im new to this how do these 150s go as im about 120kg and only ridden the 125 and was a little bit disappointed was i expecting to much.i just checked out the atomic 160 on ebay are these any good.

thanks minibikecr@zy you dont see to much about the braaap on here or i might not be looking hard enough.they talk em up in the shop but i suppose thats what there payed for and their salesman

I am 90 kgs and my 140 goes pretty hard and will wheelstand quite easy. Those frames on the Maestro will hold your weight fine, they are definately the best frames I have seen on a pitty. I am sure the 150 will pull you fine.

hey mate im from tassie as well. i have a dhz 150 and it goes off its head, the frame is strong (im about 85 - 90 kg) and it withstands my wieght jumping and nothing has gone wrong with it. have alook around for one of these

thanks for the feedback men sounds like all should be good

hey Guys! Donk thanks for starting the thread!
I'd love your feedback on how every one was in store!

Look I just got back from America, we raced in the worlds biggest pitbike race in Las VEgas, You know I have no doubt in our product, We do so much metal testing, quality control etc etc, You can see it as soon as you lay eyes on the meastro the time we spend on those suckers!

I have no doubt in our product but I believe the real value and the reason we are the best is that we have all spares, we have mechanics, we have tracks, we do coaching, we have race events, every1 at braaap rides... its the whole gig here at braaap!

hey I hope this helps!

Prob best to look on our testimonial's page , One of my mates, chin is 110kg + and he rides a maestro 150cc. loves it he got 7th at the aussie MINI SX in Frankston!

I'd love to hear from other maestro riders here, LOL Im prob a little biast consider we design them!

Keep in touch!
Hope that helps! braaap
