hi there i have an electris start loncin 125 and was wondering if i could convert it to just kick start only?

cheers,

You sure can. You can remove:
The Battery
The rectifier/regulator
Starter Motor
Associated wires

you could even get a new kill switch which doesnt have the electric start button on it, once you have done all the stuff Poulsen8r has mentioned

take the slator cover off remove the elec start chain and the motor and folow the wires to the harness and cut the wires that lead from the elec motor to the battery and remove the battery and tape the wires that are hanging.

Don't cut any wires... thats just wasting wire and will make it difficult if you wanna put the electric start back on... You can remove the wires that lead from the starter motor... One goes sraight to earth or the battery and the other goes to the solenoid (which can also be removed) then there are 2 other wires connected to the solenoid, 1 direct to the battery and another to the Yellow start switch both of these can also be removed. You literally can remove every wire as long as its not connected to the CDI, Coil or stator. When you disconnect the yellow and white wires that come out of the stator its a good idea to tape those because they will arc if they touch when riding. There will be a little black box thing that the yellow and white wires from the stator are connected to (there might be another loom though) you can remove this also, there are 2 other wires which connect to that box, the red goes straight to the battery and the black/green goes to earth, these can also be removed...

Just again... Do not cut the wires... they will have terminals on either end and can be easily disconnected.

thanks for the info guys all sorted and that picture helped alot

cheers,:)
