Hey
Im looking for a 230 4 stroke. I wanted a 85 2 stroke but they are two hard to maintain and I don’t want a 250 as they are too much.
For a 230 if it’s a Honda I don’t want the light.
I would like it to be around $3000 and not older then 6 years old.
Can you help me?
Which one do you think?

cant really go wrong with either bike, they're both pretty bulletproof and good beginners bikes. Reliable, easy power, adequate suspension as long as you dont plan on hitting ramps, but if your a beginner who reckons ramps are for him, we'll see you in the emergency ward shortly...
If it comes down to which bike has a headlight, take the head light off.... last i checked, they werent welded on... ;)

ok thanks
are they the same price
and are they ok for dirt jumps

Pretty good deal
wats the best 85 though

I had the ttr230. Never had any problems with it.
It went extremely well for what it was.

yer my mate has one and i rode it
though there heavy bikes, are they ok for jumps

has anyone got one for sale
or a 85 2 stroke

are they any good for jumps depends on what you intend to jump... if your talking ski-ramp singles you dug in the back yard with a shovel, then yes, it will cope. If you plan on tackling a 90ft top gear wide open step up triple, then no, it's probably not the bike for you.
Depending on how experienced a rider you are, and how quickly you learn, you may find yourself reaching the limits of a 230 trailbike pretty rapidly..

This will happen very quickly. Wouldn't bother with either unless you are a complete newbie to riding. The 85 you will get over as well.

Just go a year or 2 older and get a 250 straight out. Will take a lot longer to outgrow that power.

go for the crf mate, there great fun riding trails, you can jump em and they are so dam easy to ride, alot of fun
