for flying a heli, ill take electric anyday. for a plane, nitro 4 banger once im used to the way it handles. electric for learning.
but cars and racing? nitro. running the fine line between finishing with either a siezed engine, running out of fuel, or last always seems more fun to me than having the electrics do what drills do...go flat with one screw(lap) left!
wash tyres with shellite/naptha/lighter fluid. mainly the inside of the bead, to remove the mould release goop. be careful cus it eats rubber! glue them on properly, and use either harder insert foam, or the trick of tape on the inside, like these guys say. i prefer using fibre reinforced duct tape for this, and use kwikgrip instead of the pre-applied stuff on the back... iunno, but ive only had tyres fail after A; the idiot glued em while i wasnt watching or B; theyre 8 years old and were already falling apart...
