Hell, why not,I`m cleaning out my shed.It may help you out and I ain`t gunna ask 4 anything after the crap you have been through.Besides I need the space for my new bikes.See some of the other fella`s and ask 4 ideas on mounting the carb.

to tune/ get it to run better

seeing u got a similar/ same carb maybe u could point me in the right direction

i am taking my bike to a dirt bike doctor to get it tuned

That carb you got is the most common one on the china imports. The mixture screw is underneath the carby at the front of the bowl area. I wouldn't worry too much about it yet. Most commonly the needle on that carb needs raising all the way to run better.

IS THIS THE MIXTURE SCREW HERE ON THE LEFT BETWEEN THE TWO GOLD ONES IT HAS A REFLECTION ON IT SO IT CANT BEEN SEEN?

Yes thats it.

As a ballpark setting, for the ducar motor, I'd try 2 - 2 & a half turns out and needle clip second groove off the bottom. Same as AMAINC suggested earlier.

I doubt very much if the ebay carb from monsoon guy is genuine at all. He has bad feedback if you look through properly. I also know personally he is a BS artist and falsley describes parts. It doesn't even look 28mm, just a china copy 26mm. 28 would be too big anyway, unless you have a seriously worked motor and/or big cc. It would run but you will spoil your bottom end and throttle response even if you rejetted it.

yea, its a 26mm carb that he selling.... exactly the same as mine.. but he claims it is 28mm, which is proberly what the suplier in china has claimed it was

stick to the carb you gøt, just work with it

So i take it that 2 and a half turns is richer than 2 or is it the other way the more turns in richer?

if the screw is on the manifold side of the carb it's the fuel screw, so in for lean and out for rich, if it's on the air filter side it's an air screw, so in is now rich and out is lean.

and someone mentioned 14.7:1 air/fuel is the right ratio, not that it matters but for max power 12.5:1 is generally better, 14.7 is the compromise between emmissions and power. and who's worried about emmisions!

just try putting thew settings where mack said, and tell us how it goes.
