Image019.jpg

haha nice sunraysias, same as mine.

go utes!

exa=GHEY

get a 4wd ;) keep saving some and for 5-6k you WILL get somethin that goes further, lasts longer, and do ALOT more all round than what a exa will!! if you want a sports car, look at the older celicas(RWD only!!) 4age, or the supra with the 4agze! :D late 80's ;)

5 reasons why the exa is GHEYer than well.. ANYTHING!
-its got blue faux checkerplate mats.
-those subs look HORRIBLE!
-the tv/dvd is probably cheap, and to take the attention off other problems
-the K's.. on a 4cyl. no no no...
-its an EXA

5 reasons to get it..
-you ARE homosexual, and just to prove it.. you drive an exa
-Chicks dig it.. because its a chic car...
-buying this is easier than telling your mates your ghey
-it comes with free tickets to Mardi Gras and you WANT to go..
-it used to belong to a little old lady who only drove it to church on sundays

Exa for Sheepy. Miniriders Says NO!

for 4k you could buy a repairable write off (180,s13,r32 gtst)

and seeing you dont have power regulations id be looking for something better then a overpriced riced exa

if your mechanically minded and want a cheap moldable car

R31 S3 :) ebay have some cheap rb30 turb kits :)

ok then, thanks you guys.

i have always wanted a ute. but this just popped up and caught my attention. i didnt know much about them thats why i asked. so i think i might keep on the look out for utes instead still, or mabye an older path finder or something like that.

what other utes/small-meduim 4wd would you guys recomend for under about $5000

theyre all pretty much the same man, its like pick what shape you like best.

rodeo, hilux, navara, triton - theyre all tough as nails man.

ive seen hiluxs' with 400,000k's on the clock, never been reconditioned and they still ran fine.
mines got 285,000 k's, never been reconditioned and in the past 3 years ive never had a problem with it at all.

dont listen to anyone who tries to tell you hiluxs are ****, or rodeos are **** etc etc, they dont know what theyre talking about.
the older rodeo engines were made by isuzu and were built strong as, and like i jsut explained the toyota engines are unbreakable.

look on carsales, theres plenty on there.

IME steer clear of the 4cyl petrol hiluxes, 22r motors, had one and head gaskets were a common problem..

if you are after a 4wd, research anything before you hand over $. get someone to test drive, show you what they are actually capable of..

If you want a softer ride look at IFS suspension but for more serious offroad ability, go for a solid axle unit.

Older patrols are springing up VERY cheap, both the MQ and the GQ are great rigs, just be on the lookout for 'home modifictions' that might not be legal..

pick up a zook for them $ EASY.

60series crusier possibly, or even an older Land rover or Rangie, but be aware big $ for replacement OME parts on european cars.

id love one of the older corollas with a 4agze or old datto, 1600, 120y, 200B.. with an FJ20, fully stripped and caged, stiffened springs n make a track car!

Datto.jpg

DONT BUY A 31 slyline..

HUNT FOR ONE OF THESE BABYS :D hope ya got a few $!
hakosuka-006.jpg

wouldnt touch em. to many 'boy racers' thrash them now. guarantee that 90% of them are stuffed or not far off dying. so unless engine/driveline replacement is being taken into consideration..

Go the old skool cars man, they have SUCH a better street appeal and can be made to 'sleeper' so much mroe effortlessly.

GO THE ESKY!!!! then look at cosworth modifications!

SO GOOD!! drool RS. YUM!
mk2_044w.jpg

small 3.5 rover v8 might squeeze into that engine bay!

edit.. YEP!
YouTube - my mk1 escort V8 start up

the datto 240/280z's are hot stuff to!

but MX5 are becoming VERY cheap now and handle great from factory!

2. it's a pulsar they lunch gearboxs

pfft as if I had a highly modded turbo N12 with a supposed weak gearbox it didnt break(even with a 4 puck brass button box smasher) its the dildo's that cant drive that break them lol

yeh no way 3800 tell em they're dreamin n13s slow as a wet week ...but at least its a ca18de i spose and not the ca16de

my mate from tafe had one the exact same with exhaust and extractors.... It gave my dead stock VL a good running but I used to always pull away... Not a bad motor in them as well.. the ca18de.. but in the end its only a 4 cylinder and an import... get a real car.. a commodore :)

commodores loose dont hold value for sh*t, get a hilux or something, atleast when your done you will get most your money back
