there shoulf be atleast 3 wires leaving the magneto going to the cdi.

no. all those 3 wires control the igntion... if there is 4th wire, that can be used for the headlight.

yer, the fourth wire, i used dual headlights on the 1 wire.

easy if u no wat ur doin! good results, just dont electricute urself or the cdi!

wear gloves and dont cross the 4th wire with the bike. the bike is ground and u will complete the circuit. Big tip is to work while the bike is off then test it.

hey mate,

it realy looks like u can run a headlight!

which wire says 12V?

on my bike it was the yellow wire is used for the headlight.

Check where the yellow wire enters the plug and exits on the otherside on the plug. It may change colour from yellow to ? as it exits the plug.

hey,

i have blown a globe by reving it 2 much. a switch could easily be rigged up 2 turn them on and off.

must put a resistor on to control the volts and amps.

Ps does the kill switch have power running through it????

ay the kill switch should have power through it, otherwise wat can it kill?
i dont have a kill switch on me bike just key off.
