great movie craig, Hey rotn just wondering, what's it like on the way down, getting ups one thing but getting down can get pretty tricky. DO you ever find that the small wheels tend to get stuck in ruts, holes and on rocks? I allways do anyway, went for a really good run up the hills today, on the way down though I all most dropped my dacks when the front got stuck in a hole, stopped me dead and the back lifted about 8inches. Luckily it didn't go all the way over, its a long way down, lol. Its not the first time either, Any way just curious to know if anyone else gets the same problem. I need another pitty to experiment with longer swing arms and stuff.

Good question mate, coming down the top section where it is more compact dirt it is easier, on the rear brakes enough to just stop it from locking and on the fronts the slightest bit, but on that lower section where it is all very loose dirt and rocks and ruts is different, The back brake is locked and if you let it off for a second then you get to much momentum and pick up speed and cant stop, and when that happens naturally you want to grab a handful of front brakes but that only means stacking the bike, once the rear gets in a rut you gotta be cool on the steering or the back wants to overtake the front at times, as for the front getting stuck in a rut, well it would not be the first time i have gone straight over the bike and landed on my feet while the bike topples and goes end over end once then comes to a stop. Keep going mate, its a lot of fun if you have some hills to tackle, once you do tackle the hill start shortening your take off and then you learn throttle response and just plain keeping the bike momentum throughout which is more skill than luck. Cheers Mick

Should know by tomoz mate. Will shoot you a msg when I do.

There is one section of my paddock which is fairly steep but right at the start is a Very steep section with cattle tacks running accros i, which make the back bounce so sitting on the seat helps but then the front is hard to keep down. Its real fun lol. With is being dry and all the hills are actually attempt-able come winter you don't go any where but down, and very fast and usually on your back. One hill has a steep section for about 40m and then levels out. SO when its wet My brother and I will lock the back wheels of our bikes at the same time and see who can get to the bottom first. Its hard because its so slippery that with using front brakes you can get real fast and missing the holes on the way down is part of the skill too. So its really a test of balls and skill. Will look into posting a vid of my hills for ya to see. We can compare to see who's is bigger. :applaudit:

Yeah it is great fun mate, def post a vid, I got a big foot and you know what they say about that, so mine must bigger lol

good job mick, congratulations :D

went to my new house the last weekend and part of the property is a dryed up lake with a massive hill around it, part of it is abit rocky to. might be a good hill climb, but its like vertical, maybe i'll make a jump to make it a wall ride out of it instead of a hill climb haha

Lucky bugger hazza, everyone needs a Hillclimb site lol. Don't forget vid footage if you attempt it champ.

yeah you have me wanting to tackle one i havnt made it up at parklands out in the back trails.
