killswitch

No-Fear is right, a killswitch will not save ur ass if ur gunna crash. all it would do is stop fuel igniting so the bike dont go anywhere wen ur dead.
therefore i dont use 1 cause they look like ****.

Kill switch won't save you!

Anyone ever tried hitting the kill switch on any motocycle while the bike is in motion, it usually does not stop

mate trust me ive done it many times you cant remove all on them but all u need is some duck tape and some pliers or snips. just cut ur batery off and then work ur way in and just give ur bike a run every time u cut something off and if it dosnt work put it back on ;):D

yea thats how i did mine lol. Also wouldnt it be smarter to piss the key off and keep the killswitch instead? at least the killswitch is in a more convenient place then the key...

LoL if u want to get rid of ur electrics, just remove everthing but the coil, cdi,and or key and killswitch wires! u can keep the killswitch if u want by i rather use the key in its "inconvienient" spot. u could move it if u wanted. Wen ur cutting away at the wires, watc out for the black negative the grounds for the cdi!

Killswitches are there in case your throttle gets stuck and you can't slow down (even with brakes), or if you get your jeans caught in the engine or some ****, try changing gears to neutral when your leg is being munched on by the chain, I'll bet you wish you had a killswitch then.

its called the clutch for that purpose.

yes so you can have one arm attending to your half-leg whilst the other is holding down the clutch.........

What if the bike is on top of you?

These things are very unlikely but sometimes stuff happens which nobody forsees and the killswitch is there as a fail safe in these situations and I bet many people in the past have been glad to have their kill-switch installed.

i had the bike ontop of me, on the road 2 day and the engine was still running...(stupid chinese kendas got no grip) not a big deal, these bikes wont crush u if u fall under them, a lil burning but that would be the same as the killswitch off cause the exhuast will still be hot!
