Do not saw anything, more than likely ur wheel isn't straight thats why it is clunking, it is prob trying to throw the chain off, make sure u tighten the chain evenly and once every thing is tightened up give the wheel a spin and look at ur rear sprocket making sure that it is in the middle of ur chain on every rotation.
ur wheel should spin freely without binding up on anything.
Just by looking at it u should be able to see if the wheel is straight or not..

Ok, I'll give it a go when I get home. I'm at school right now lol. If it doesn't fix it by tightening it up and straightening it up what should I do?

I don't think it's trying to throw the chain off though. The connecting link is hitting the side of the nylon thing bit because the connecting link is wider than the regular links.

being that it is only a mm or 2 bigger shouldn't make that much difference, unless ur rear chain guide has been made with next to no clearance.
If nothing else that u try fixes the problem, cutting a small piece out would be ok.
And I know u had a **** of a time putting that king link on so u wont wanna here this but for future reference, as a rule the clip be facing the other direction.
This just prevents it snagging on bike parts ( as it is now) and knocking the clip off.
I have seen this happen with horrific damage caused to a friends leg when the chain let go...

Are you sure it's around the wrong way? Did you look at the photo?

If it is I'll change it back but I wanna make sure.

Here's the way my clip is facing (circled red). Is this the wrong way?

Unfortunately yes, as u can see in the pic, when it reaches the chain guide the open end of the clip can possibly snag, and undo itself.
Not saying that it will happen but it might, as a rule you should have the closed end of the clip facing the way the chain is moving..
Sorry about that mate.
