just get the yellow wire connect it to one of the kill switch wires and then the left over wire from the kill switch goes to the yellow/black wire coming fromt eh coil its pretty simple just try it i reckon you should be able to get it without a photo

ok my wiring is all done

but i noticed the part of the ignition that you move up an down for timming is just touching the flywheel should it be touching cause the starter isnt??????

an where is the standard setting for timming ??in the middle???

hay divy, good to hear all your wiring is done man, not too hard aye?? with regards to the pick up sensor, have you undone the screws and moved the sensor back towards the rear wheel (sometimes there is a slight ammount of play between the sensor and the flywheel.) for timing if you shift the pickup sensor right the way up, then down about 2mm it will set it to approximatly 28 degrees retard (best for little to no kickback and still have good performance) but in answer to your question, yes the middle of the sliding range is 0,0 advance retard.

if it does touch it shouldnt matter, BUT there should be enough of a gap (only the size of a business card depth so less than a few mill)

back to the timing, my advise is to run it like this and then slightly shift the pickup down till you get slight kickback, then move it back up about a mill, this will give you best performance and little kickback (or as little as you set anyway)

hope this all helps.

Cheers, Tony.

thanks for the info bones it helped alot what do you mean by kick back ??
the bike seems to run good its set at 28 degrees retard but as you said ill drop the sensor down a little bit more an see if it runs better yeah??

oh an for some reason theres some oil coming out of the crank case breather whys that doing that???
sorry for more questions but i want it running right

its not the crank case thats the breather to the gear case, you may have a little too much oil in the motor.
